WWE 2K19: 10 Potential Showcase Modes

7. The Evolution Of Women's Wrestling

In order for this mode to work, it'd need to properly explain why the Divas era, despite the poor wrestling and focus on sex, was something WWE once coveted. Then, WWE could put themselves over by claiming they realised that women deserved equal footing to the men, and that's why they launched the female revolution several years ago.

It's propaganda, sure, but it'd mean gamers could play through matches starring Trish Stratus, Lita and more.

For a full experience, including Alundra Blayze (putting across how her wrestling-centric style didn't suit WWE's own presentation in the mid-90s) and Chyna would be best. A women's wrestling mode in 2K19 must have the full gamut of stars from the past, then mix them with the most important names of the present like Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

If handled correctly and sensitively, a Showcase looking at the evolution of females in WWE could be quite inspirational. From gravy bowls and bikini contests to headline-snatching WrestleMania performances and pay-per-view main events.
