WWE 2K19: 10 Tips & Tricks To Play Like A Pro
6. Make Use Of Limb Targeting
When picking submission geniuses such as Daniel Bryan, Ronda Rousey or Kurt Angle, it feels genuinely great to watch as enemies tap the mat furiously and give it up. After all, who wants to win with a measly pinfall when they can lock on Ronda's arm bar and make everyone scream?
Word to the wise: they won't unless they've been worn down. Your submission attempts will only end in bitter disappointment.
The best strategy pre-submission is to focus on a specific body part relevant to the hold. For example, aim attacks at a rival's mid-section to see it change colour before trying to make them tap to the arm bar. For Angle's ankle lock, the legs are a more obvious concern. Then, for Bryan's submission, the head and torso makes the most sense.
To target specific limbs, hold down R1/RB and press the face buttons to maximise your submission gains. The buttons go from head to toe in order, meaning triangle/Y for head, square and circle/X and B for arms and torso, and X/A for legs.
