5. Actually Read The Showcase Objective Descriptions

Daniel Bryan's Showcase run through is excellent, but some of the matches are rather lengthy. This can make things more frustrating than fun. There are no mid-match save points, so fail one objective on an otherwise perfect performance and prepare to start all over again. This isn't helped by some of the vague on screen hints.

2K tell you what to do without necessarily telling you how to go about doing it.

If unsure, don't be shy to hit the pause button and head to the objectives tab. There, you'll find a much more detailed break down of what's required and how to pull individual spots off. For most, there are even button press explanations that save some time heading over to the controller layout screens.

This is something that's easy to miss, and (whilst it is a little annoying to press pause every two minutes) it is very important to success in Showcase. Next year, 2K should think about including some more on screen prompts for the mode.
