Remember, this is only part one of WWE 2K19's roster reveal. There's another truck load of talent coming from 2K, and it'll probably land over the next week or two as the team build towards the game's October 9th release.

Expect that second reveal to focus on adding some more star power to the ranks, beefing up the women's roster and getting the ball rolling on those aforementioned Legends. Again, it's like 2K wanted to give NXT the floor in part one and show off WWE's developmental brand as an increasingly-important part of the game's appeal.

If that was indeed part of their thinking, then it's smart. NXT has become such a vital part of WWE's programming schedule over the past few years, and the brand deserves more focus in the games than it's had. It wasn't too long ago that NXT was being used as a carrot on old-gen systems like PS3 and Xbox 360, after all.

In 2K19, NXT is in-step with the main roster, and that's a good thing. Besides, part two of the roster reveal will plug any holes you might spot in the initial 75-strong lineup.
