Maybe it's an illustration of where the Cruiserweight brand falls on the ladder of importance, or maybe it's mere coincidence that 205 Live was part of the second reveal rather than the first. NXT took centre stage there, and now it's the Cruiser division's turn to shine. Boy, do they ever shine.

Lucky number 13, anyone?

That's the amount of 205 Live roster members 2K have announced for 2K19. Amongst them are established favourites like Cedric Alexander, Kalisto and Jack Gallagher. Then, elsewhere, Noam Dar makes his video game return and there are spots for the likes of Drew Gulak, Gran Metalik, Hideo Itami and Lince Dorado.

205 was given 11 slots in 2K18, making this a slight upgrade. Rather disappointingly however, there's no Cruiserweight GM Drake Maverick. Although he could still make it in as part of a DLC pack later down the line, it's unlikely 2K will include a manager/authority figure in one of those releases.
