It's 2019 and yet there's still no proper way to relive the storylines fans see on WWE TV every week. If anyone fancies living Becky Lynch's double-title success at WrestleMania 35 or riding the wave of 'KofiMania', then they'll need to use some imagination. There's no need for that with the kind of technology 2K have at their fingertips.

If Yukes could craft a tight narrative that emulated real and recent WWE storylines over a decade ago, then 2K can damn sure do it now on PS4 and Xbox One.

A WWE Season is one feature fans have likely cried themselves to sleep about. Between Universe Mode, Showcase and MyCareer, there is a lot of fun to be had, but none of it captures the biggest moments from the previous six-nine months of WWE's real-life programming.

2K, if you're reading, do us a favour and make this happen. Games like SmackDown 2: Know Your Role, released in 2000 on the f'n PS1, had real storylines from television in them. If 2K20 is going to be the authentic WWE experience, then this is the nuts and bolts of that adventure.
