WWE 2K20: 10 Improvements It Must Make On 2K19
5. Greater Freedom Of Movement & Less Glitches
Controlling the lightning-fast Rey Mysterio should not feel like one is manoeuvring an M4 Sherman Tank around the ring, and it certainly shouldn't be anything like playing as the hulking beast Braun Strowman. Unfortunately, aside from a few minor differences, it is.
Speed is a problem in 2K's simulation-heavy series. Not only that, it also feels like characters are at war with their surroundings as well as an in-ring opponent. The lack of freedom in movement leaves Rey-Rey, for example, controlling poorly, and that's something that must be addressed.
Then, there are the glitches.
Wrestlers still jerk around the ring, teleport or get stuck on or inside objects. Patches have sorted some of these problems, but they're very much still there if you play long enough. It'd be brilliant if 2K could sort that out, eradicate the game-breaking glitching and crank up the speed dial.
