WWE 2K20: 10 Most Wanted New Features
3. A Female MyCareer
First off, the way 2K ramped up the silliness in MyCareer for 2K19 was a welcome change. Some have complained, but we doubt those critics would rather have the old humdrum system back where endless one-on-one matches without context or plot development were a way of life.
Give us indy wrestling, soap-opera nonsense, a rising through the ranks tale against established favourites and some Bray Wyatt supernatural absurdity any day of the week, just give us the option to play as a woman. That, perhaps more so than any other argument against 2K19, was the most damning upon release.
This is 2019 and we still don't have a dedicated female story in a WWE video game. Evolution evosmution.
It could be something as simple as replacing Triple H with Stephanie McMahon as the chief antagonist, or 2K might prefer having a total different storyline altogether. That'd serve two masters; female gamers would get their relatable story, and 2K would be adding replayability for those who want to sample both.
