2K invites players to Step Inside the ring with WWE 2K20. Your favorite WWE Superstars, Legends, Hall of Famers and NXT’s best will join the festivities and celebrate the rebirth of the WWE 2K franchise!

That's a direct quote from 2K's website about their upcoming WWE 2K20 release. The final line is particularly interesting; "celebrate the rebirth of the WWE 2K franchise" is a bit rich considering next-gen hardware is out next year and the team will already have an eye on moving to PS5 and 'Xbox Two'.

It doesn't take a genius to scan Twitter and see that things aren't rosy in 2K's garden. The question is, do longtime fans buy into that discontent, or do they continue to stick by the series as usual? This article is designed to give a fair and balanced view on 2K20 without ignoring any glaring negatives.

The aim here is to give gamers an informed take on whether or not they should bother plonking down hard-earned cash. By the end, you should be able to make up your own mind about 2K20 and see it as either a worthwhile product or one to skip.
