WWE 2K20: 10 Tiny Details 2K Must Add

1. Playing As A WWE Star In Career

And so we come to this.

It wouldn't break 2K's back to allow players the chance to live vicariously through their favourite WWE superstars and experience their week-to-week journey. No, Universe and all its trappings don't count. It isn't actually that fun to pick one wrestler there and work through the calendar.

We're not sure why this is so elusive. If footy fans bought the latest FIFA title and found they had to play the Career Mode exclusively as a made-up team, they'd be fuming. It's the thought of pretending to be top pros like Cristiano Ronaldo and Troy Deeney (ahem) that makes EA's product so enticing.

In 2K20, any Career Mode should come pre-packed with the tantalising prospect of choosing someone like Samoa Joe, Becky Lynch or any other number of actual WWE heroes. Then, gamers could guide them through a side-quest-laden tour of WWE's biggest stories and feuds for a good 8-10 hours.

You know, like we had way back in 2002's Shut Your Mouth...
