WWE 2K20's roster includes a soft debut for Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend' character, returns for old favourites like Hulk Hogan and Chyna, and countless other stars to play as. Overall, players will have approximately 150 choices when the game lands on 22 October. That number includes all the wacky 2K Originals creations like 'The Swampfather' and 'Frankenstrowman'.
None of those in the Originals line-up are actual real-life workers though (they're based on them, obviously, but Halloween themed), so they're exempt from this list.
Instead, it looks at actual real wrestlers who are about to grace WWE's long-running video game series for the very first time. The rules are simple: 2K cannot have included these men and women before, even as DLC. That rules out returning NXT powerhouse Tommaso Ciampa, and it means Nikki Cross, a notable omission from last year, is also out.
These guys are totally fresh to the video game world. Amidst all the ongoing furore on social media about 2K20's chances, this is something 2K can point to as a positive. They're giving new faces the chance to earn one of those sweet royalty payments...
