7. WWE's 'NFL 100' Style Ad

Rumour: American football fans would've enjoyed that NFL 100 advert the organisation put together in celebration of the league hitting a century of seasons. WrestleVotes' Twitter account claims 2K and WWE will pull something similar in time for 2K20's launch by drafting in Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and other legends, and spending a ton of cash on the commercial.

Chances Of It Being True: 2K20 could do with some serious hype towards the old-school market, and an ad featuring stars of yesteryear could bridge the gap if Becky Lynch is chosen as the cover star. Imagine a commercial that starts with legends of the past and ends with Becky saying this is her time to shine.

This wouldn't be the first time WWE has spent some cash on advertising for the games either. Back in 2000, they had Kurt Angle wreak havoc in a hotel for SmackDown 2: Know Your Role, and the 'Suplex City' branding for 2K17 was very well done.

If they can put goosebumps on the arms of lapsed fans and speak to younger ones who prefer today's roster, then 2K might shift some more copies. This is one rumour to keep an eye on.
