WWE 2K20 Early Wishlist: 10 Things Fans DEMAND
10. A Graphical Revamp
In fairness, an annual release is hardly lazy. 2K19 would barely have been on shop shelves before in-house attentions turned to what the developers could do next in 2K20. That's the catch to yearly releases, and it makes sweeping improvements harder to come by. It's also probably why the graphics have occasionally been a bit naff in 2K's series.
Just look at that Becky Lynch model pictured above. 'The Man' was not meant to be taken literally.
WWE video games have needed a graphical rethink for years now. The same stiff hair mechanics, those dead eyes, the unrealistic way wrestlers float rather than walk over the ring canvas and more are all examples of why a revamp is required. The problem is that 2K don't exactly have bags of time on their side to make it happen.
They're going to need to think of something though. It's not good enough to expect long-suffering fans to accept animations recycled from a decade ago, and it's unforgivable to charge full price for a game that retains some of the glitches last year's did.
