WWE 2K21: 10 Improvements It Must Make On 2K20
7. More Inbuilt 'Legacy' Arenas
There's an awful lot of lore left at the door in 2K's series.
Generally, they've done a great job of drafting in legendary names and pushing the notion of dream matches on players. Then, there are those older arenas fans can unlock. They're a joy, and there should be more of them. It's not enough to offer a handful then throw peeps towards Community Creations for fan-made replicas.
The joy this guy experienced when he first clapped eyes on the old WCW Nitro arena 2K made in one of the earlier games will go with him to his grave. That was a thrill, one that opened up endless possibilities and made him believe that maybe, just maybe, 2K were in this for the geekiest of geeky fans. Y'know, the kind who get moist at new episodes of Thunder hitting the Network.
2K could do so much more than they already do with WWE, WCW and ECW history. They've got a whole universe of pro wrestling at their fingertips, and they need to start using it better. They can start by creating some sweet-assed 'legacy' arenas and firing them onto the disc.
