WWE 2K21: 10 Ways To Save A Dying Franchise

9. Offer Free Content

As an extension of that public apology, the developers could offer free DLC packs to anybody with a 2K20 save file on their system of choice. Or, if they want to go even further with it, 2K could just release select 2K21 content free of charge as a goodwill gesture to a fanbase who rightly feel ripped off.

Perhaps the worst thing they could start doing is tout new pre-order bonuses in the summer. Scrap those for now, because people aren't in the mood to have token extras dangled in front of them. This is a time for 2K and VC to get back to basics and start making their customer base happy again.

It's the least they can do.

Should WWE rebrand someone on the roster (like they did with Bray Wyatt and his 'Fiend) or debut a new star before release, it should come as part of the in-box package. There's nothing to gain from angering fans further, or asking them to pay more cash.
