WWE 2K21: 10 Ways To Save A Dying Franchise
4. Full WWE Superstar Editing
Community Creations was a blessing sent from the heavens when it launched, if only because it meant the days of suffering outdated character models would be a thing of the past. That's true, to an extent. Outside such downloadable delights, there's little room for full character customisation.
That means some wrestlers will be antiquated within weeks of the game releasing, and that sucks. 2K could remedy this by communicating more with WWE to find out what their plans are in advance (although, admittedly, that could be tricky in an ever-changing organisation that often books on whims rather than long-term thoughts).
Full, offline superstar editing is one option.
Letting players go wild with the on-disc roster without using up CAW slots would feed that customisation 2K lean on so heavily in the modern era. If you want to give 'Monday Night Messiah' Seth Rollins blonde hair, go ahead. Fancy making Samoa Joe a foot taller so Vince McMahon would fawn over him? This is your game - do it.
