WWE 2K21 Early Wishlist: 10 Things Fans DEMAND
5. Proper WWE Live Implementation
One of the biggest issues with annually-released games is that they age pretty fast. For example, 2K20 still uses those old SmackDown Live stages for the blue brand instead of FOX's flashy new set, and any recent image or attire changes to superstars are roundly ignored due to time constraints pre-release.
That's forgivable. Failing to implement some sort of easy update feature, meanwhile, isn't.
Honestly, it wouldn't be a chore for 2K to update their games properly after they hit the shelves. They're already doing this with the drip-fed Originals content in 2K20 (offering new characters, arenas, Showcases, Towers and more), so why not put that same effort into spot-on replication of up-to-the-minute attires, pay-per-view arenas etc?
2K would create some buzz in the community if they advertised that fans would be able to download the Survivor Series 2019 stage (for example) on the day of the pay-per-view. WWE could even send blueprints showing the set design off, and allow 2K the time to build one in-game.
