If you like hitting finishers, then you'll have a blast in 2K22. Why? Get this: 2K are seemingly including "limitless combos, counters, and finishing moves right at your fingertips". If this guy is reading that correctly, then that means your characters will be able to hit finishers at any point in the match.

This will either mean that signatures are slightly underpowered or that bouts will last 30 seconds as standard. OK, maybe not, but it's certainly an interesting choice. Some will point to the changing control scheme generally and deem it "interesting" anyway.

2K's redesigned control layouts are said to be "seamless", "responsive" and "intuitive". They're also aiming to make the game more accessible to younger players too, but do so without stripping away a more complex layer for those who want to suplex fools through stacked tables.

Scan the screenshot above and you'll also see that some contextual prompts have changed. This could take some getting used to. Saying that, 2K's controls had become so clunky - they needed a bit of work.
