WWE 2K22: 10 Improvements On 2K20 You Need To Know About

6. Way Better Character Models

Screenshots of The Rock, John Cena, Bianca Belair, Roman Reigns, Edge and others show that upscaling wasn't limited to the Create-A-Wrestler mode. Some of the character models 2K have designed for the new game are gorgeous, and it's clear that a lot of work went into bettering 2K20's iffy graphics.

Side-by-side, the results are amazing.

Complaints flooded in about how bad Dwayne Johnson looked last time, so the artists were always gonna have to do something there. Stringy hair, bugged-out eyes and jagged edges were consistent amongst all of the other characters too, and things got even worse for some less-important stars.

Hair has been improved (it flows naturally instead of floating as one solid piece), eyes are more expressive, sweat glistens on bodies and everyone's skin looks...alive. OK, that sounds weird, but you know what this writer is getting at there.

These models look like real human beings instead of waxy, poorly-drawn and rushed caricatures.
