The in-house phrase 2K and VC are using for 2K22 is, "Step out of the crowd, step into the ring". Yes, that sounds painfully similar to 2K20's "Step Inside" slogan, and it doesn't appear to mean much on the surface. Explaining, Patrick claimed the team planned to move away from a "broadcast" style when it comes to gameplay.
