Being honest, most older players will give Gulak the old heave ho and leap into MyGM first. Be warned though, 'cause it’s not quite what you remember, and 2K have gone for something a little different here. The much-requested mode is surprisingly restrictive, and some of the choices made don’t make sense
For example, MyGM believes that Brock Lesnar vs. Big E isn’t a compelling match due to the fact that they've got two different fighting styles. Huh? Still, it’s worth experiencing despite those little annoyances that crop up here or there. There definitely is a lot of fun to be had if you're willing to overlook inconsistencies.
Just...go in preparing to moan about some things. Once that's off your chest, adapt to the more on-rails elements and have fun. There is some joy to be found in a ratings war against rival shows, and no amount of Triple H-led emails about hiring Goldberg can change that.
