WWE 2K22: 10 Ways To Successfully Reboot The Series
1. A Complete Overhaul With Graphics
We alluded to this a little earlier, but the graphics in general definitely need to be changed in the WWE games even if it means the franchise is released every other year moving forward. There are ways to incorporate a more realistic crowd, while even adding sweat marks to the mat or making a Superstar's hair look increasingly more dishevelled as the match continues would be a big step forward.
The wrestlers are the stars of the game, so why not spend more time on improving a smaller roster than throwing more and more names into the mix? A complete polish of everything from the arenas to the ring itself would make what we're playing feel like an actual WWE show, and that's what people actually want from a game like this.
Ultimately, it could be as simple as making a title that a wrestler is carrying to the ring actually move like one rather than it looking like a solid, circular prop. It feels like the graphics haven't really improved at all since the WWE games hit the current generation of consoles, so a completely new visual style would definitely be beneficial to a reboot of this series.
