Mustafa Ali was just plain old Ali when 2K20 launched. Despite that, someone at 2K deemed him worthy of an 81 score (which put him in the same bracket as Big Show and Shane McMahon - both of whom also had higher-than-necessary ratings).
In 2K22, it won't be a mega surprise if Mustafa falls into the lower card glut of those struggling to maintain relevancy in these games. He'll replace outgoing workers like Sin Cara, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas at the lower end of the 70s scale.
73 seems fair enough for someone who hasn't been up to much.
