WWE 2K22 Review: 4 Ups & 4 Downs

6. UP AND DOWN - Bugs (But Less Of Them!)

I know we shouldn't be praising a Triple A video game from a long tenured franchise such as this for releasing with minimal bugs, but such is the age we live in, where smooth launches are about as an NWO match without interference.

And as it stands, from my time with the game, the bugs have been present but not as awfully gamebreaking as prior titles. There's still the occasional issue with the ring ropes, clipping through objects, a supremely annoying AI bug that sees opponents pin over and over if another player is stunned (like they will literally take a kick to the face, ignore the person assaulting them and go back to the pin attempt), and some wacky hair physics, but for the most part the state of play is far better than before.

So there we have it, bugs, but not as many and nowhere near as bad. It's an Up and a Down all at once.
