WWE 2K22 Wishlist: 10 Things Fans NEED To See

4. The End Of Universe

Speaking of boots up arses.

Universe just needs one out the nearest door. Although that may not be a popular statement amongst those who enjoy it annually, it'd be a mercy killing, because 2K blatantly don't have anywhere to take it and rely too much on the lazy "freedom" to create your own "WWE Universe" spiel.

That's boring now, and it doesn't help one bit that the way the mode goes about it is also paper-thin. Cutscenes repeat too frequently, and there's actually more fun to be gleaned setting everything up than properly playing the matches/cards/rivalries.

Think about that. It's more fun to set up a game than play it. Who do they think they are? Subbuteo?

2K's time could be better-spent developing MyCareer, a full WWE Season Mode (again, more on that later) or something totally new. Universe, in its current state, saps energy from the franchise. That will not change. If it was going to, then such changes would've happened long before now.
