9. Asuka
Asuka's inclusion will come as a bit of a surprise to those disappointed she doesn't have her current "clown" look in-game. Perhaps that'll come via an update, but anyone desperate for it can hop onto Community Creations soon - it'll surely be up there within days, if it isn't already.
For now, the "old school" model is a winner.
The most visually stunning moment for Asuka's character comes when she takes that mask off during her energetic entrance. It's a fab transition, one that reveals the hard graft that went into scanning her face during development. Honestly, this deserves a round of applause.
It would've been easy for 2K to phone Asuka's model in. She has the mask on for 90% of her entrance anyway, and few would properly see her up close whilst playing. The fact they didn't and put in this level of effort is very-much appreciated.
