WWE 2K23: 10 Changes Fans Demand

7. Reframed DLC

2K's approach to DLC is simple.

The devs drop new packs of wrestlers to play as every so often. That's fine, but it's not nearly enough; everyone fiddles around using these fresh characters for another match or two, then they get bored again. So, basically, 2K should think about expanding what's offered via DLC.

Why not release some new story content for MyCareer to keep that mode ticking over? Or, failing that, new storylines for Universe Mode wouldn't go amiss. Honestly, the whole season pass model is rather outdated, lazy and uninspired at this point, and it's clear this is a missed opportunity.

Game companies are all about raking in extra cash after the fact. That just makes it even more confusing that 2K drip-feed a handful of wrestler packs and call it a day. They're phoning it in there, and spurning the chance to make even more money by giving fans more game on the backend.
