WWE 2K23: 10 Rumours You Need To Know
2. A Nintendo Switch Version?
Take that pinch of salt from the intro, rip the lid off your shaker and pour the rest on.
WWE 2K18 on Switch was a complete and utter disaster. It was so poor, in fact, that 2K hasn't produced another WWE title for Nintendo's console since. Performance issues (that slow down was agony) blighted what should've been a real on-the-go thrill for gamers.
If the developers do plan on bringing 2K23 to Switch, which the rumour mill thinks they will once the more-important PS5/Xbox Series X releases are out of the way, then they'd need to create a unique product that plays to the system's strengths. It's either that or just don't bother.
Saber Interactive achieved miracles with their port of The Witcher 3 in 2019, but ropey versions of games better-played elsewhere are too common on Nintendo's hardware. Maybe 2K could hit Saber up to see how they managed to squeeze a gorgeous world onto one of those tiny SD card.
Or, y'know, create a bespoke experience.
