WWE 2K23: 10 Things To Know Before You Buy

Here's something nobody is really talking about.

No-one's quite sure how good or bad AEW's first video game will be. It could be a stellar throwback to the glory days of SmackDown: Here Comes The Pain and No Mercy, or it could be an arcade brawler that's more 2K Battlegrounds than WWE 2K23-botherer. Who knows?

The wonderful Community Creations hub in 2K23 means you can get the hop on AEW's product by fleshing out an entire All Elite experience ahead of time. Yep, you can effectively turn WWE's official video game into an AEW title that may well be better than Yuke's game before it even releases.

That's a mind-blowing thought, but it'll be the reality for many who love using Community Creations to nab arenas, wrestlers, title belts and more assets. Then, you can turn Universe into AEW-land. Basically, WWE 2K23 is a love letter to wrestling fans generally, not just WWE mega-fans.

Light the fuse before Yuke's lets you do it officially.
