WWE 2K23: 10 Things To Know Before You Buy
4. WarGames Is Worth The Wait
The biggest match type touted this year is, of course, the iconic WarGames double cage. Every 2K employee who has spoken to the media is extremely proud of what they've achieved here, not least because it took some work to make WarGames a reality for the series (they had some rebuilding to do in 2K22 first).
3v3 and 4v4 matches will be available to players, and each entrant can stop off to pull out weapons like tables, chairs and more before waging war. WarGames will also see unique big dives from atop the cage, and gamers will have the ability to fight in the space between both rings.
That's a nice touch.
Older players will recall how annoyed everyone was when Hell In A Cell debuted in SmackDown 2: Know Your Role as pretty much a ring-hugging standard cage with a roof. That didn't cut it, but 2K has made sure that WarGames debuts with a bang in WWE 2K23.
Rest easy knowing that.
