WWE 2K24: 10 Changes From 2K23 That Must Happen
2. MyRise But For WWE Superstars
Some out there will look at that subheading and wonder how a mode specifically tailored towards created wrestlers could work with real WWE stars. It's simple: THQ's classic SmackDown titles did it, so 2K can copy that format and work their own magic to make it even better/in-fitting with player expectations in 2023/2024.
Being able to pick an actual WWE star and go through a branching story likes the ones seen in 2K23's MyRise ("The Lock", in particular, is something every wrestling gamer should play) would be awesome fun. It also isn't something we've seen from this series for the longest time now.
It's the comeback everyone deserves.
Guiding GUNTHER to a Royal Rumble win, then WWE Title glory at WrestleMania, would be sweet. Similarly, taking Roxanne Perez from NXT to the main roster and seeing her work storylines vs. everyone from Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus to Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair would rule.
