7. 2K Will Debut A "New" Match Type
WarGames was a big selling point for 2K23. The importance of it shouldn't be overlooked, because this very writer knows at least one person who bought the game just to experience it. That's practically unheard of when it comes to WWE video games in the modern era, and sounds more like the sort of thing that would've happened back in the day when THQ debuted the Elimination Chamber in SmackDown: Here Comes The Pain.

Now, fans are wondering collectively what's coming next. Hopes are high that 2K will introduce another new match type to keep things interesting for 2K24; everyone wants to see them tweak the WarGames match to make it even better too. What could this new match type be though?
Maybe Buried Alive or proper Casket Matches will make a return? Inferno is another rumour, but there are some who think the special guest ref stip will be the only "new" match 2K brings to the party this year. Meh, better than nothing.
