WWE 2K25: 10 Biggest Reveals (So Far)
4. Bloodline Dynasty Is The Showcase
This year's Showcase Mode is framed around The Bloodline too.
Playable matches that look to have been confirmed already include Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins from the 2022 Royal Rumble, The Usos vs. New Day from Hell In A Cell 2017 and Umaga vs. John Cena from New Year’s Revolution 2007. Obviously, that's just for starters. Other characters playable in the mode include Yokozuna, The Rock, Jacob Fatu etc, so there's a cool blend of retro and new here.
The whole thing will be narrated by Paul Heyman, so at least you know the voice work will be good. He'll bridge the gaps between matches and give background on story/character lore to catch everyone up on why they should care. Nobody is better qualified than Heyman to do this - he's been around the family for decades, is a close friend and knows this tale inside out. Plus, Paul is one of the best promo men on WWE's books.
The Undertaker's 'Deadman' special edition suggests his Casket Match vs. Yoko from the 1994 Royal Rumble will be involved somehow. Face it, there are going to be loads of 'Taker character models in the game anyway, so 2K might as well explore his past in amongst all The Bloodline chatter.
A sweet knock on effect of including that match? The '94 Rumble arena would become part of the venue line up. Shout out to the real ones who remember Tatanka vs. Bam Bam Bigelow in the opener, or Lex Luger's confused face when fans cheered harder for Bret Hart.
Look out for more 'Bloodline Dynasty' info when it becomes available.
