XBOX: 10 Best Games To Boost Your Gamerscore

1. Truth or Lies Truth or Dare, the game of choice for teenagers to coheres the opposite sex into revealing intimate secrets about themselves or do dares that usually involve items of clothing being removed. THQ decided to bring a version of the popular game to home consoles, the idea being that at a party or after Christmas dinner, you pop "Truth Or Lies" into your Xbox and quiz your friends and family with questions like "If you had only 24 hours to live, what would you do?" and "What secret have you never told your best friend?" Played with a Xbox microphone, you take turns in answering questions and the game can supposedly work out of you are telling the truth or not. When I played it , the game was accurate about 10% of the time, often mistaking my indifference for deceit. Combine that with the very lame questions that wouldn't make your granny squirm, you have a stinker of a game that does non of the things it promised on it's very annoying box art. Needless to say, the game was a flop and now can be found on sale for as low as 75p, but at that price it might be the cheapest 1000 Gamerpoints money can buy. Playing on my own, I managed to get all 28 achievements in 1 hour. Once you have ''calibrated'' two different voices, one for a truthful answer and one for a lie so that the in-game technology can tell the difference between the two, you are ready to start. Begin by playing a 'long' game and you will bag most of the achievements and then do 7 rounds in the ''hot seat'' and boom, 1000 Gamerpoints. I bought and traded it in on the same day. Annoying Achievement: Most of them. You can get all of the achievements in around three hours but the game is so rubbish at working out if you are telling the truth or not, you end up repeating a lot of the rounds and that can drive you to the edge of insanity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siwt89Si1Zw Special Mention: Avatar: The Burning Earth Based on the second season of the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, this game is very generous when it comes to achievements. Don't worry if you don't follow the cartoon, it's not a requirement to enjoy the game because you wont be playing it for too long. In order to get the full 1000 points, you only need to play the first two minutes of the first level. As soon as you skip through the boring opening cut scene, you will start the tutorial level and as you start battling your way through the enemy guards, Gamerpoints galore will start unlocking as you perform the same simple combo over and over again. Two minutes later, you have unlocked all of the game's five achievements and can switch it off and erase it from memory. For a low budget game that sucks, Avatar has secured it's legacy in gaming history for being the king of easy video game achievements. Annoying Achievements: All of them if you happen to be really lazy or have a short attention span. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gv-kv4QJnV8
