Xbox Game Pass: 10 Best Bethesda Games
7. Wolfenstein: The New Colossus
Hands down the best of the two Wolfenstein titles on Game Pass, The New Colossus is high-octane, alternate history action at its finest.
Following on from The New Order, Wolfenstein II continues to follow the exploits of B.J. Blazkowicz as he takes the fight to the Nazis, this time stateside and in the 1960s. For a game that's really all about the action, there's a surprising amount of story, so I shan't be saying anything more on that front.
Anyone who was playing games during that strange period from the mid 2000s till the mid 2010s - when every game seemed to be a military-based first person shooter - will feel how fresh and exciting Wolfenstein is, compared to that ilk.
It also happens to be pretty challenging, especially on the higher difficulties; there's enough content and challenge here to indulge a few few dozen hours into rewardingly.
Especially if you played either Doom or Doom: Eternal, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a must play. If you didn't, or you don't think that's your sort of thing, try it anyway.
