Xbox One: 10 Best Tips & Tricks You Must Try
8. Mouse & Keyboard Support
A great benefit added to the Xbox One later in its life cycle has been its Mouse and Keyboard integration.
The Mouse and Keyboard can be used anywhere on the Xbox’s operating system, but only certain games support playing this way, as developers need to add support for their titles. There is third party software available to get around this problem if you really want to get the most out of your mouse and keyboard, but great titles that already benefit from developer included support include Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, and The Sims 4.
To start, all you have to do is connect your usb keyboard to your Xbox One, and it will start working automatically. Next, you need to connect a usb mouse and then press the Xbox Home button on your controller and go to Profile & System>Settings>Devices & Connections>Mouse. This will let you customise your mouse, such as pointer speed, and changing mouse buttons. Wireless hardware can be used as long as they can be connected with a usb dongle.
The WASD life isn’t for everyone, but for those that prefer the faster reaction times of a Keyboard and Mouse, Microsoft scores a big win.
