9. The New 3.5mm Controller Adapter Works With Regular Headphones

Listed as an 'exclusive feature' for the PS4's more bulky DualShock, the newer models of the Xbox One controller come with the same 3.5mm headphone jack you can plug your headphones into. Formerly thought of to only work with the licensed headsets you can buy to use online, this is no longer the case. The volume it outputs at is based on whatever your TV is set to when you plug the jack in, but it can be altered by hopping into the console's Settings and into Devices, which can be accessed faster from the Snap menu. Best of all, this essentially turns any pair of headphones you own into a wireless set powered by the controller. Take that Sony, we got there eventually!
