Xbox One: 10 Reasons It's Already Lost The Console War

1. No Backwards Compatibility

Though this isn't exactly a shock, especially after examining the console's PC-like architecture, it's still a disappointment that the Xbox One isn't backwards compatible with at least the 360, if not the original Xbox as well. This could have been a major selling point for the One, but instead we're simply left wondering what Microsoft are going to do to compete with Sony's ambitious cloud gaming system, which will allow players to stream their favourite classic games from Sony's servers. In all likelihood, Microsoft will follow the same route, though the lack of concrete information is a little dispiriting for now. What did you think of the Xbox One launch?
