2. Irreplaceable Hard Drive
I was rather surprised to hear that the Xbox One hard drive was "only" 500GB, given the next generation's focus on downloadable content and the increasingly-digital landscape of the industry in general, but what really surprised was that the hard drive is irreplaceable, and short of sending your console back to Microsoft, there is no way to fix the console yourself. Furthermore, a manual upgrade of the console is now impossible, presumably as a measure to curb piracy and hacking. I just can't help but feel like 500GB is nowhere near enough, and though it's fair to presume that an Elite 1TB model will probably be made available, to put such heavy restrictions on players seems a little unfair, especially given how Microsoft is touting their console as not just a gaming device but an all-round entertainment hub.
