Going a completely new direction for one of gaming's legendary franchises, a couple of new trailers have released simultaneously that paint two very different campaign possibilities for the fifth main entry in the mythos. In one, the Master Chief himself is about to shoot newcomer (and fellow playable character) Locke, stating "You've completed your mission, but mine is just beginning". However, flick over to the other footage and it's the exact opposite - still framed in the same way - as Locke holds a gun to the Chief and reverses your expectations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCZWQSjEv-o The main takeaway from this - and the use of the #HuntTheTruth hashtag is that there's obviously going to be a major focus on the story throughout Guardians, which to be honest could be fantastic, as although it's always fun to blast Elites and Grunts to kingdom come, having a really impactful reason to pull the trigger is far better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht7pwc_LIrc With a multiplayer mode that's cribbing a few things from Call of Duty like aiming down the sights and more perk-based unlocks to ensure even if you're playing the online modes casually it's more than worth it, Halo 5 looks set to be a solid iteration in the series after the surprisingly fantastic fourth instalment.
