Xbox One X: 9 Ways Microsoft Can Avoid A Total Failure
6. The Price Needs To Be Worth It
Even though the Xbox One X is releasing at the same price point that made Microsoft such a laughing stock in 2013, the company is getting away with it this time because the new console is being pitched as a 'premium' purchase.
Even though it has that justification backing it up however, Microsoft still needs to be able to explain why it's double the price of an Xbox One S and £100 more than the PS4 Pro.
Because despite all of the jargon that's been thrown around at the moment, Microsoft haven't explained in layman's terms how their new console is better than the competition.
We've heard a lot about teraflops and gigabits, but as of now the average Joe has no idea why they need to choose the Xbox One X over the PS4 Pro.
There's a reason why Microsoft's new console is being billed as the most powerful gaming machine ever, but those buzzwords are useless if the company can't communicate effectively what this actually means.
