2. Halo: Infinite Is A Launch Title

Although Sony revealed quite a fair bit about their next machine, one thing is still shrouded in secrecy: the launch lineup. While it's not exactly fair to criticise the company for not announcing it, considering Sony hasn't formally revealed the machine in the same way as Microsoft, some of the games expected to ship with the console - like Death Stranding and The Last of Us 2 - look like they're coming to PS4 first, leading many to wonder what Sony will have left over to launch alongside the PS5.

Microsoft's launch lineup is similarly shrouded in mystery, but we do now know one game which will be launching with the console: Halo: Infinite. Little is known about the next instalment in the iconic franchise, but the latest trailer relied heavily on nostalgia, and it's clear that Microsoft are wanting to restore the franchise back to its former glory.

Phil Spencer referenced the legacy of the original Xbox launching with Halo: Combat Evolved as its killer app, a trick they're looking to copy with Infinite. Even if the game itself doesn't turn out to be amazing, having a major name like that at launch will still be a huge draw for fans.
