Xbox Vs PlayStation: Ranking EVERY Launch Line-Up From Worst To Best

4. Xbox One

Ryse Son of Rome
Microsoft

Launch Date: 2013

Notable Games: Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct

Yes, the Xbox One's release was a dumpster fire.

Originally imposing bizarre 'always online' and Kinect mandates to an unwelcome reception. Microsoft eventually backtracked on their policies... but, by then, it was much too late.

Shame then, cause their release line-up was a muscular collection of exclusive content superior to the PS4 launch games.

To beef things out, you had all your necessary cross-gen FPS, sports, and remasters content (Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Assassins Creed: Black Flag) - yet, it was all about the exclusive games.

Dead Rising 3, was a ridiculously fun next-gen installment of the franchise, Killer Instinct, was a slick update of the retro fighter, Ryse: Son of Rome, looked and played gorgeously on the new machine (even if it grew repetitive) and Forza Motorsport 5, was a franchise high-note.

Considering a long-term criticism against the Xbox One across the lifespan was its lack of exclusives content, it's baffling to see what an impressive line-up it held at launch... shame it sat in the middle of an epic turd tornado then.
