Yu-Gi-Oh: 10 Most Powerful Blue-Eyes Cards

The Ultimate Creature of Destruction is the first trap based support to specifically reference the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

Upon activation, it turns your Blue-Eyes monster into the untargetable, unkillable powerhouse you always imagined it was. No effects can target it and it cant be destroyed by battle for the remainder of the turn.

Additionally, any monster the Blue-Eyes battles is removed from the game at the end of the battle phase. One of the biggest problems with any Blue-Eyes deck is it's prone to 'bricking'. To 'brick' is a Yu-Gi-Oh! terminology that means you couldn't play the game with your starting hand, the cards basically interact poorly with each other.

It isn't out of the ordinary to end the turn with just one Blue-Eyes in play that was special summoned off your White Stone of Ancients.

While it may seem like your lone Blue-Eyes is vulnerable as its being attacked by your opponent you can activate the trap card and the monster attacking it is removed from the game. In addition as the Blue-Eyes cant be destroyed it'll defer any additional attacks for the rest of the turn.

A strength of the Blue-Eyes deck is its ability to special summon the titular dragon, the Ultimate Creature of Destruction rewards you for doing just this. If it's in your graveyard and you special summon a Blue-Eyes you're allowed to re-set the trap from the graveyard, ready for another use.

The Ultimate Creature of Destruction will often show up in 'Pure' lists as a one or two off, its a well-loved card as you can search for it with Bingo Machine Go!!! and potentially hints at other trap based support in the future.
