9. Get The Master Sword
The iconic symbol of the Legend of Zelda franchise, the Master Sword, can be completely missed if you don't know where to find it. Although many hints are given from people throughout Hyrule, it's definitive location can be hard to locate.
To find the Master Sword, you need to make your way through the Great Forest of Hyrule, which starts at the Lost Woods, north of Hyrule Castle. As soon as the air gets misty and the music changes, you'll know you're in the right place. To make your way through the Lost Woods, you need to follow the lit braziers. When you eventually come to the end of the braziers, grab a torch and light it up.
Follow the direction of the embers (to the left-hand side of the two braziers) to make your way to the homeland of the Koroks, and the location of the Master Sword.
Actually equipping the Master Sword means that you will need to have attained 13 Heart Containers. This equates to having completed 40 shrines or defeating 4 of the Divine Beasts and completing 24 shrines.
