We know the Water Temple is one of the most infamously hated levels in Ocarina of Time, but water levels have come a long way since then.

Swimming was a bit of a pain in BOTW, so most of you probably thought that once you obtained the Zora armour you were going to be able to dive into the depths and go exploring.

You were wrong, which is weird considering the sheer amount of the world that could be climbed and traversed.

It would be great to be able to explore hidden ruins in a deep, dark ocean. BOTW brought a more survival oriented version of gameplay to the franchise, relying on you acquiring resources. Imagine if they applied that to the water so we end up with something like Zelda meets Subnautica.
