10 Best Bring Me The Horizon Songs
8. I Don’t Know What To Say – Amo (2019)
Amo saw Bring Me The Horizon push the boundaries of their sound even further. Due to this increased level of experimentation, their sixth album wasn’t embraced by all of their fanbase.
Yet the final track on the album is difficult for anyone to not enjoy. With its prominent use of classical instrumentation, ‘I Don’t Know What To Say’ is reminiscent of a film soundtrack, and as such, it’s one of the band’s most unique tracks.
Though the string section is undoubtedly the standout, the electronics and the guitars merge seamlessly into the mix. Lee Malia’s guitar solo is particularly good.
What’s more, the song doesn’t follow a linear structure. There isn’t a chorus, but rather a series of verses broken up with instrumental sections that carry plenty of melody and power.
As the last song on Amo, ‘I Don’t Know What To Say’ is easy to overlook, but it’s definitely one of the band’s most successful attempts at pushing the boundaries of their sound.
