3. Midnight Rambler (Bootleg Version) - The Rolling Stones
http://youtu.be/7a6bQYkqBkA The Rolling Stones were one of the most bootlegged groups throughout the 60s and 70s, surely due to the fact that when on stage, they were a completely different band than they were in the studio. The epic, drugged-out murkiness of their golden years is nowhere to be found on stage, instead replaced by a band whod put the Ramones, Clash and Pistols to shame with their ferocity and speed. Taken from a cancelled live album to be released around the same time as Exile on Main Street (Unreleased Decca Live Album 72), this jaw-dropping rendition of the slow-burning blues number from Let it Bleed shows each member perfectly in time with each other particularly the razor-blade chops of Keith mixing with the sweet, melodic leads of Mick Taylor.
