10 Perfect Albums Ruined By One Song

5. Drunk and Hot Girls - Kanye West

The journey through Graduation may be the last true uphill battle that Kanye West ever had to make. After being known as one of the biggest up and coming stars in the world of hip hop, here was the one album that blasted 50 Cent out of the water on release day and catapulted Ye to the top of the world, where he hasn't come down from ever since. That's not to say that the album was classic from cover to cover though.

In between the forward thinking stadium hip hop on songs like Flashing Lights and Stronger, we also get Drunk and Hot Girls, which was an experiment that should have never been released. Looking to shake things up with the production, this was Ye trying to make a song in waltz time, complete with a story about hitting on girls at a bar and trying to take one of them home.

Even for as energetic as Ye sounds on the rest of this album, he almost feels tired at this point in the song, as if he realizes that this experiment isn't working and should be scrapped (too bad nobody told him that). As far as Kanye songs go, this is corny as hell, but on an album that's supposed to be all about partying, this feels like dropping a bottle on the club floor. It kills the vibe and we all have to wait for it to be cleaned up.
