10 Perfect Rock Albums With No Bad Songs

1. Abbey Road - The Beatles

By the late '60s, it really did look like the Fab Four were going to officially call it quits. After a disastrous session for the proposed Get Back went belly up, the Fabs were all on completely different pages and hardly on speaking terms. That's not the way to go out though. If they wanted to call it a career, they knew they needed to pull out all the stops.

Going into Abbey Road for the last time, the Beatles' final outing became one of the greatest musical achievements ever to be associated with the word rock. Across each members' tracks, you can see how much they've grown as musicians, with the bluesy swagger of Come Together being upended by the shimmering beauty of songs like Here Comes the Sun.

Beyond just making a collection of songs though, the Beatles made one of the most daring moves that any band had ever attempted, with the last third of the album being comprised of snippet long segments that bleed together in a collage of music. Even if you hate rock with every fiber of your being, chances are that you can still find a little something to appreciate in any of these tracks. It was equal parts prog, pop, rock, and folk, but when you strip away the labels, it was just quintessential Beatles.
